Vista Mail Email Tutorial
Creating a New Email Account
Open the Vista Mail Mail program
Click on TOOLS.
Choose Accounts
Choose Add
Choose email
Click Next
Enter your name
Click Next
Enter the entire email address
Click Next
Choose the type of email account
Enter the incoming and outgoing mail servers your provider has given you
Choose if your Outgoing Server needs authentication
Click Next
Enter your email user name and password
Click Next
Click Finish
Open the Vista Mail Mail program
Click on TOOLS.
Choose Accounts
Select the email account and click Properties
Under Advanced, you can make changes to:
Your incoming and outgoing server ports and SSL usage
The length of time before a time out occurs
and if you want to leave a copy of the message on the server
