Enter your incoming mail user name (This may be just the user name or may be the ENTIRE EMAIL ADDRESS- check with your provider) Enter your outgoing mail user name (This may be just the user name or may be the ENTIRE EMAIL ADDRESS- check with your provider) Click Next
Enter a name for your email account to identify it Click Next
Review your email information Choose if you wish to download messages now Click Finish Making Changes to an already existing email account
To set the specific configuration or make changes to an existing email account Click TOOLS Choose Account Settings
To make changes to the outgoing mail server, click OUTGOING SERVER Click Edit
Here you can make changes to the outgoing mail server The outgoing mail port Set authentication for the outgoing mail server
To change your password go to TOOLS Choose OPTIONS Click on Privacy Edit Saved Passwords If you have an older version of thunderbird, using the same options, you can do the same process through the firefox browser interface |
