What you need to set up your email. |

Open the outlook program From the TOOLS menu, choose E-mail Accounts |

Choose NEW to add an new email account If you are making changes to an existing account choose View or change existing email accounts click NEXT |

If you are setting up a new account choose the type of account you are setting up If this is a change to an account choose the account to change and double click on the account |

Your Name: can be whatever you want to put Email address: should be the entire email address User name: should usually be THE ENTIRE EMAIL ADDRESS (Though some providers do use just the user name- verify this with your provider) Enter email password Enter Incoming mail server Enter outgoing mail server Click More Settings |

A new window will pop open In the outgoing server tab, choose if any authentication is required |

Enter the port information for the incoming mail server (default 110) Enter the port information for the outgoing mail server (default 25) Configure if you wish for a copy of email messages to be left on the server or deleted after a particular number of days. Outlook default settings are to delete the messages off the server. Click OK to go back to the main screen. Click NEXT and FINISH |
