What you need to set up your email. |

Open the outlook program From the TOOLS menu, choose Account Settings |
|

Click on EMAIL to add a new email account and click NEW |
|
|
Choose the type of E-mail service |
|
|
If you want to allow outlook to manually configure your email account enter the email address and password Hit NEXT If the email account has specific settings, to the bottom left Coose MANUALLY CONFIGURE instead |

Coose MANUALLY CONFIGURE and click NEXT |

|
Choose the type of email account Click NEXT |
|
|
Enter whatever you want for Your Name Enter the email address Choose the type of account (POP3/IMAP-ask your provider if unsure) Enter the incoming mail server Enter the outgoing mail server User name is USUALLY THE ENTIRE EMAIL ADDRESS if unsure, verify with your provider, some occassionally use a user name Enter password Click on more settings |

Under the outgoing server tab is where you can mark for authentication if required for your account |
|
Go to the Advanced tab Enter the port information for the outgoing mail server (default 25) Enter the port information for the incoming mail server (default 110) Configure if you wish for a copy of email messages to be left on the server or deleted after a particular number of days. Outlook default settings are to delete the messages off the server. Click OK to go back to the main screen. On the main screen click NEXT, then FINSH on the last screen |
